Have a Story Worth Sharing?

One of the best parts of running The Scoop is hearing the stories behind the billboards.
Not the traffic counts. Not the CPMs. Not the latest technology. The people.
Over the past few years, we’ve had the opportunity to feature billboard owners, operators, salespeople, designers, and industry veterans from all over the country. Some started with a single billboard on family property. Others came from completely different careers and somehow found their way into out-of-home advertising. Some inherited family businesses. Others built companies from scratch.
What we’ve learned is that no two stories are alike, and these stories matter. They remind us that the billboard business is still a people business. They inspire newcomers who are just getting started. They help veterans see that others face many of the same challenges. And sometimes they simply make us laugh.
Maybe you’ve been in OOH for 30 years.
Maybe you bought your first billboard last year.
Maybe you have a favorite campaign that produced incredible results.
Maybe you have a funny story involving an installation, a customer, a permit, or something that happened on the side of the highway that you’ll never forget.
Maybe you simply want to share what drives you to work in this industry every day.
We’d love to hear it.
The Scoop exists to help connect the billboard community, and one of the easiest ways to do that is by sharing the experiences of the people who make this industry what it is.
