The World Out of home Organization has expanded its global footprint to Brazil with the board appointment of Felipe Forjaz, former President of the Brazilian Out of Home Association (ABOOH) and the founder of media owners helloo and elemidia.

Forjaz says:”Being part of the WOO Board is a great honour and a great responsibility, as I will be representing the Brazilian OOH market and aim to bring local awareness to the challenges other countries face, both restrictive and technological.”

ABOOH President Felipe Viante says:”This appointment means actively participating in the development of global standards, as well as creating a space for local experiences to be recognized and shared on a global scale.”

Halisson Pantarolla, president of Central de Outdoor which, along with ABOOH makes up over 90% of the Brazilian market, says:”Felipe’s appointment represents the maturity of the entire Brazilian OOH ecosystem. It’s recognition of the efforts of companies and leaders who have worked tirelessly to raise standards and ensure Brazil’s legitimate role in the global OOH industry.”

WOO President Tom Goddard says:“Brazil is the largest OOH market in LATAM, so it’s an important step forward for us to have the country  represented on the WOO Board.  I am confident that Felipe will serve the interests of the entire OOH community in Brazil collaboratively and with distinction, raising standards and cultivating closer international relationships.”
