You can literally become the star in your own advert thanks to the new Adidas billboard at Kite Beach in Dubai.

Called the ‘world’s first swimmable billboard,’ it’s 5m high, 3m deep and holds 11,500 gallons of water.

And it’s been launched to advertise the new full-cover swimwear collection for women.

Adidas commissioned a survey in the UAE which found only 12% felt comfortable wearing a swimsuit in public. So they designed an 18-piece collection that includes long-sleeve tops, lightweight hijab and trousers.

And they’ve come up with this cunning marketing ploy for their new swimsuit. As you can see, it looks pretty cool right in the middle of Kite Beach!

One of the first to take the plunge was Adidas ambassador Raha Moharrak who was the first Saudi Arabian female to climb Mount Everest.

WORLD’S DEEPEST SWIMMING POOL OPENS IN DUBAI HOLDING 14 MILLION LITRES OF WATER

Staying in the swimming world, the deepest swimming pool in the world is opening in Dubai.

Deep Dive Dubai holds 14 million litres of water, which is the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. And it has a depth of 60m!

It’s basically an abandoned underwater city. The sunken city includes ‘ an abandoned streetscape, apartment, garage, and arcade.’ All of which can be explored while free diving or scuba diving.

The huge pool is packed with areas to explore. And it’s also covered with 56 underwater cameras so you’re always in view.

And – this is our favourite bit – the water is kept at 30 degrees, so you’ll be toasty warm while exploring. Bliss!

Deep Dive Dubai is set to open later this month in Nad Al Sheba.
