Tasty Ad had the pleasure to interview 2 wonderful ladies (Opal Bohannon and June Neergaard) who are billboard landowners for Dave Roland at Roland Digital Media.

Question: How long have you known Dave?
Answer: Since 1988
Question: How did you all meet?
Answer? Dave rebuilt one of the older billboards on my property.
Question: How many billboards does Dave have on your land?
Answer: 6
Question: Has the income from a billboard land lease helped you over the years?
Answer: Yes, very much. I would not be able to continue living where I am if not for the billboard income.
June Neergaard (U.S. 127 Dunlap TN)
Question: How long have you known Dave?
Answer: 25 Years
Question: How did you all meet?
Answer: My husband Barney Neegard, Chairman of Dunlap Commission, knew Dave from previous billboard projects.
Question: When did you decide to rent your land to the billboard owner?
Answer: Another company held the land lease for over 20 years but never built a structure. Earlier this year, Dave approached us about a digital location and we struck a deal.
Question: How has the income from a billboard land lease helped you over the years?
Answer: I have been retired for a while and social security doesn’t pay much. So this has been helping tremendously.
Question: We noticed that you have been put on a billboard. Did you like getting your picture put up there? Did people notice it?
Answer: I loved it very much. Many people saw it and told me.
